Why Wait?

We as people tend to forget that God put us on this Earth for a reason. Every individual has a purpose in life but because we are so big on procrastination and scared of failure, we miss our opportunities.

Each day is a new day to fulfill our purposes but guess what, WE DO NOT. We always ask God to shine the light and show us signs and so forth but we don’t actually follow through with our own plans because ” God is not answering my prayers” or ” God never listens to me because ABC” or the ultimate best “God is punishing me”. I’m sorry but God helps those that help themselves. He cannot water a plant that has not been planted. He wants you to show him your efforts before he can answer your prayers.

People wake up everyday and drink away their days because climbing up the social hierarchy is more important than climbing the business hierarchy because being classified as being cool nowadays is the ultimate goal. We are so lazy to think and that is so sad. We go to school for approximately 13 years and varsity for 4 years and come out with nothing. People forget that having a mere degree nowadays is basically useless. Businesses want experience. Tell me, how are you going to gain experience if you wake up everyday and do what you did yesterday and the day before? You think God will go gain the experience for you? Think again mate.

Let me tell you something…USE WHAT YOU HAVE!

Every human is special because we all have different talents and skills. Use what you have to get far in life. God carefully molded us and added extra spice, and that spice is the one thing we need to use to better ourselves as people. That spice was added so we could help other people better themselves. That spice is the spice that makes you, YOU.

Finding your ultimate purpose in life is one of the hardest things to do but it is so worthwhile because once you find it, everything will unfold and your life will make more sense. You will wake up every morning with a positive take on life because you will realize life is beautiful and that life is basically what you make of it.

Don’t wait for signs from God because newsflash, God is waiting for a sign from you.

God will know when you have found yourself then only will he take over. Right now he is trying by all means to direct you to the right crowd and the right place. He brings you toxic people and messed up jobs to show you that somethings are not worth it, to teach you a lesson. He takes away your favorite people or your amazing jobs to make you stronger as a person because he knows what your future has in store for you, he wants you to be fully equipped for the journey you are going to embark on.

Don’t wait and miss your chance of being the next best thing. Fears are there to block your capabilities, God didn’t make us fearful, he made us courageous and strong. Fear does not exist in the ideal world so forget its existence. Take away fear from your vocabulary and see how far you will go in life.

Build the person you want to be. Use your imagination to guide you. Use your tools (your senses) that God gave you to help you become the person you are destined to be. Albert Einstein said ” Imagination is everything, it is the preview to life’s coming attractions” then Steve Harvey elaborated on it and said everything we have is from some bodies imagination. Someone out there imagined a wireless cellphone, a moving car, a burger, social media etc. Everything we use and have access to right now, was only an imagination. So what is stopping you from turning your imagination into reality. We ourselves are our own enemies, we limit ourselves and get angry when other people limit themselves and that is because we use them as our source of motivation. Focus on internal motivation and forget the external motivation.

Side Notes There’s external motivation, which is motivation from friends, family, role models etc. and there’s internal motivation, which is motivation that comes from within yourself.

Don’t wait. Pick yourself up and keep it moving. Don’t rely on people. DO YOU!!

Also remember, failure is essential. No good thing comes without failure.

  1. Hi, found you on First Friday, nice to meet you!

Very motivating. A good choice of topics as these sort of blogs seem to have a wide readership. To help your readers know more about your blog topic and to make it easier to search for, I would add come tags to your posts. These can be done when you are editing your post, found under categories and tags on the right hand side. Additionally, I would include an ‘about’ page; readers like to now a little more about you. Blogging is a very community-based activity and other love to learn about you. The more you share and support others, the more people will share and support you ๐Ÿ™‚ It is a wonderful community, I hope you find it as fulfilling as I have.
